“Mazza Recycling Services received the Glass Recycling Coalition’s Bronze MRF Certification in 2021. Mazza is a family-owned and operated company that is dedicated to our environment and committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. We sought certification to show that glass is an easily recycled material, and if you put the proper equipment and technology in place to produce the cleanest stream possible, there are plenty of markets for recycled glass. The Bronze Certification has enabled us to advertise and promote the benefits of recycling glass through our award-winning recycling education program. We find that the recognition makes us trustworthy and reputable when it comes to recycling. We are proud to feature our certification and our ability to provide cleaner glass recovery to communities in New Jersey.”

“Rumpke is committed to glass recycling and recognizes the Glass Recycling Coalition’s MRF certification program as a key component to strengthen the processing chain. The certification program not only recognizes best practices to collect and clean glass in MRFs for end market use but also provides a goal for other glass collections programs to improve their glass collection systems.”

“The glass container industry in Pennsylvania is an important part of our economy and glass recycling has been a part of recycling in Centre County since the beginning in 1989. The GRC Gold MRF Glass Certification provides validation of CCRRA’s extensive systems and efforts to recover and provide clean glass that is marketable to manufacturers. It is also a wonderful reminder to our employees that work so hard to maintain the quality of material that their work is valued by the industry.”
